In this photograph, a man wanders the desert. He is alone, surrounded only by sand. His strength is weaning and his drive is gone. At the moment of defeat, he spots an oasis.

A video I made about the history of constructed photography is currently on display at the Cress Gallery of Art at the University of Tennessee. The great photography team Kahn and Selesnick, who I’ve previously mentioned on my blog, are showing their work there. My video is being used to show visitors the evolution of this type of photography.
